AFC was formed in 1903, and Axminster Football Club's facilities are utilised by both the club and the community. Their award winning football team practices here as do other local clubs, and they host community fundraisers from quizzes to bingos. 
 
Axminster Football Club serves as a base for youth teams and community events, and is available for hire.
